Hi hi! My name is Matthew Rodriguez, but you can call me Matt for short! I am
an aspiring theatre/performing artist native to the sunshine state of Florida!
Being born and raised here, my home state has always been full of culture,
art, and, of course, my childhood Disney-fied! As much as I wanted to witness
this life-changing art, I knew I wanted to immerse myself and showcase my
authenticity to the world through performing!
Although my path to performing may have started a little later than most, it’s
never too late to go for what you love! In any way, you just have to shoot for
the stars, and soon, you can be one yourself!
From the guy whose love for his girlfriend has been minimized to a kooky
mayor helping a young lady achieve her dream job, my characters have
always come from love, real-life connections, and genuine emotion. I hope
that with each performance, I can touch someone’s heart and make them feel
they are not alone in going through the struggles of reality and humanity.

WHAT’S
UPCOMING?
I am participating in a full-time summer internship at
Limelight Theatre in Saint Augustine, FL! I am
contributing my values and skills to expand myself with
the theatre community on a local level!
I am preparing to attending my junior year at Flagler
College - accomplishing a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Theatre Arts with a minor in Music and graduate in
May 2027!
